LICENSE CONTROL PLANE
Manage annual subscriptions, seat entitlements and PortGuard server activations.
Register a customer, set their seat capacity, and issue a 12-month code. The term begins when the code is activated.

The activation code is shown once after creation.
The code is stored as a hash and cannot be displayed again. Deliver it securely to the customer.
Console enforces these seats when each Agent enrolls. This page shows licensed capacity; view enrolled endpoints and remaining seats in Console. One activation code binds to one Console instance. To increase capacity, issue a new code for the required total seats; the administrator replaces it in Console Settings → License. The old code is retired and Agent identities stay intact. No per-device activation code is needed.

Graduated pricing: each seat band has a percentage of the base annual seat price. The percentage and base price determine every band. Tax is not included in this formula.

The publishable key (`pk_test_…`) is for browser-based Stripe Elements. PortGuard redirects to Stripe-hosted Checkout, so it is not needed or stored here.
The environment is controlled by the License Server configuration. Test-mode codes remain restricted from Console activation. Live Checkout remains disabled until renewal and tax requirements are configured.
SERVICE CONTINUITY
Create an encrypted recovery copy or review restore instructions.
Download an encrypted recovery archive containing customer profiles, licenses, activity, the signing key and administrator token. Keep a copy outside this server. Active login sessions are excluded.
Restore from the server terminal while the Licensing service is stopped. The recovery tool verifies the password, database integrity and signing key, and writes into a new data directory so the previous database remains available for rollback.
